24. in 25. 9. 2026 je PF UM organizirala mednarodni simpozij z naslovom "Human Rights: The Intersection of Law, Society, and Technology", ki že štirinajst let zapored povezuje predavatelje iz Slovenije in Turčije, katerim so se letos pridružili tudi predavatelji iz Azerbajdžana. 

Posebnost letošnjega simpozija je, da so se vključili tudi dodiplomski in doktorski študenti. S tem je simpozij odprl in ustvaril prostor za odprt dialog, nova spoznanja in oblikovanje skupnih idej tudi študentom. Letošnji simpozij je ponovno postregel z odličnimi prispevki o aktualnih temah s področja človekovih pravic (npr. glede umetne inteligenc, državljanstva, raziskavah na človeku, varstvu osebnih podatkov, športnega prava, procesnega prava, otrokovih pravic, sovražni govor, pravni položaj živali, pravice starejših...). Na simpoziju smo lahko slišali tudi profesorje in študente PF UM, in sicer po vrstnem redu predstavitev:

Simpozij je tako skozi leta prerasel v pomembno in prepoznavno platformo za izmenjavo znanja, idej, izkušenj in dobrih praks ter hkrati postal simbol dolgoletnega, uspešnega in prijateljskega sodelovanja.
