7. in 8. septembra 2023 je bila Pravna fakulteta Univerze v Mariboru že tretjič organizator bilateralnega simpozija, ki poteka v sodelovanju med PF UM, PF UL in PF Univerzo Ozyegin (Istanbul).  V dveh dneh se je na 11. turško – slovenskem primerjalnopravnem simpoziju zvrstilo 17 slovenskih in turških predavateljev, ki so v svojih prispevkih naslovili izbrane vidike v sklopu krovne teme simpozija »Protecting Children's Rights in Civil in Criminal Law – under a Touch of Digitalization”.

Na simpoziju so sodelovali tudi naši profesorji, asistenti in doktorski kandidati s sledečimi temami: a) prof. dr. Vesna RIJAVEC (Video Conference in Family Matters); b) izr. prof. dr. Borut HOLCMAN (Like a child! The European Heritage of Legal Culture); c) doc. dr. Katja DRNOVŠEK (Children as Witnesses in Court Proceedings); d) doc. dr. Cocou Marius MENSAH (International Humanitarian Law and the Protection of Children); e) Urška KUKOVEC, doktorska kandidatka in asistentka (Best Child Care Arrangements After Separation of Parents); f) Astrid CEP, doktorska kandidatka (The Best Interests of the Child and Digitalization of Education); g) Rok DACAR, doktorski kandidat in asistent (Targeted Advertising and the (Children's) Right to Privacy - Remedies of Ex-ante and Ex-Post Regulation).
