March 5 | Prof. Matjaž Tratnik Ph.D. and doc. Petra Weingerl Ph.D. lectured on 5 March 2020 at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. At the invitation of the Czech Society for International Law and the Department of International Law of Charles University, they lectured on the topic of diplomatic protection. They highlighted new trends, especially in relation to the position of the individual and the impact of European integration on this established concept of international law. | ||

Assoc. prof. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. visited the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest from 17 to 20 February 2020 as part of the Erasmus + program. The visit was intended to strengthen interfaculty cooperation. She also gave first and second-grade students lectures on the topic "Slovenian New Family Code - Selected Issues". | ||

Dec 2019 | Assoc. prof. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. and Jasmina Klojčnik visited the Faculty of Law of Leibnitz University in Hannover, Germany, from 17 to 20 December 2019. Assoc. prof. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. gave a guest lecture with prof. Christian Wolf, Ph.D. and their subject "lnternationales Zivilprozessrecht" on "Selected issues of Slovenian Family Law".

Dec 2019 | Prof. Janja Hojnik Ph.D. visited the Faculty of Law in Maastricht as part of her Erasmus visit for professors, where she gave lectures at two research seminars. At the Center for European Law, she lectured on discriminatory prices in the EU single market and at the faculty level on modern challenges in the evaluation of legal science. The latter seminar was particularly important, given that Dutch universities are breaking new ground in setting new approaches to the evaluation of research work. | ||
April - May | Assoc. prof. Suzana Kraljić; Ph.D. was between 15th April and 14th May 2019 guest lecturer at the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec, Croatia, where she gave 21 hours of lectures in the Croatian language. The topics of her lectures were: • "Fundamentals of Commercial Law - from the Perspective of the New Slovenian Family Law"; • "The use of robots in tourism and hospitality - a myth or a reality"; • "Fundamentals of EU law - selected topics"; • "Law and health tourism". | ||
January - February | Assoc. prof. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. was among 23rd January and 22nd February 2019 guest lecturer at the recognized Faculty of Law ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University) in Budapest, Hungary, where she gave 21 hours of lectures. The topics of her lectures were: a) “Understanding Child’s Best Interest Standard”; b) “Adoption in 21st Century - between a Wish and Reality”; c) “Patient’s Rights and Responsibilities - selected issues” |

December | On 14th December 2018 doc. Petra Weingerl, Ph.D. gave a guest lecture on the freedoms of the EU internal market at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, and at the same time participated in the round table "How to educate students about human rights - challenges and perspectives" She also took part in the final competition - a simulation of the proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights. | ||
January - March | In the academic year 2017/2018, doc. Petra Weingerl Ph.D. gave several guest lectures as part of the “European Union Law” course at the University of Oxford Law School, for students from New and Exeter Colleges. | ||

Mar | Prof. Darja Senčur Peček Ph.D. lectured on the topic "Precarious work in Slovenia" at the International Seminar - Precarious Work, Current Reality and Perspectives at the Faculty of Law, University of Lodz, Poland on March 23, 2017. | ||
Feb/Mar | Prof. Matjaž Tratnik Ph.D. lectured at the Faculty of Law of the University of Aruba between 20th February and 3rd March 2017, within the Erasmus + "Staff Teaching mobility". Prof. Tratnik lectured to B1 students as part of the International Business Law course on international sales contracts under the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods, Incoterms and Aruban and Dutch law. In addition, he lectured on international sales of goods, Aruban and Dutch private international law on the international sale of goods, and on the reservation of property rights in comparative and private international law as part of the post-academic training offered by the University of Aruba to practicing lawyers. | ||
Jan/Feb | Assoc. prof. Boštjan Brezovnik Ph.D. participated in mobility under Erasmus + "Staff mobility for Training" between 16th January and 14th February 2017. This type of mobility supports employees' professional development at higher education institutions through training abroad and follow-up at the workplace, observation periods, training at a partner higher education institution. |

Sep | Rajko Knez, Ph.D. has conducted a lecture on the topic: The preliminary ruling procedure: revisiting the basics, on 19 and 20 September 2016. He also performed a workshop on the topic: “The decision to refer & drafting questions to the court na Academy of European Law (ERA)” in Trier, Germany. The lecture organization: EJTN administrative law project on judicial training, the EU preliminary ruling procedure. | ||
Jun-Jul | Boštjan Brezovnik, Ph.D. has performed four lectures between 10 June and 10 July on the topic of: “Local government, Public administration, Research methodology, Scientific writing”. The lectures were performed in the Erasmus+ employee mobility for teaching abroad programme at the University lnfante D. Henrique, Porto, in Portugal. | ||
Jun | Suzana Kraljić, Ph.D. has participated in the conference on "Cross-Border Litigation" at the LSE - London School of Economics and Political Science, organized by University of Leeds and University of Aberdeen on 16 and 17 June 2016. Both organising universities are the part of the "EUPILLAR PROJECT (European Union Private International Law: Legal Application in Reality - JUST/2013/JCIV/AG/4635), co-financed by European Union (Cross-Border Litigation in Europe: Private International Law Legislative Framework, National Courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union). Representatives of all the EU Member States gathered at the conference and discussed the relevant questions on the use of certain EU regulations. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. acted as the representative of Slovenia and presented the current state in Slovenia. | ||

Apr | Suzana Kraljić, Ph.D. has participated in an international conference titled "Same-sex Relationships and beyond: Gender Matters in the EU : Partnership, Marriage & Parenthood; Free Movement and Gender Identity” that took place at the Bucerious Law School in Hamburg on 18 and 19 April 2016. The conference was organized by ERA and the Bucerious Law School. Participants have exchanged opinions on the current development of Family Law and different countries. Suzana Kraljić Ph.D. lectured about the (il)legal regulation of same-sex partnerships in 11 countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania). She also participated in the debate on the topic: "Parental rights of same-sex couples in the EU". | ||
