Alenka Zadravec graduated law and works as a High Court judge and the president of the District Court in Maribor. For numerous years, she participated in the educational lectures for presidents and directors of Slovenian courts as a lecturer. She is also an active mediator and one of the examiners at the State Bar Examination.

She participates in educating students at the Maribor Faculty of Law, cooperating in two courses: Civil Procedural Law and Family Law.
